Christmas Casino Hire in London
Turn your venue into a Christmas casino party your guests can actually take part in. Viva Vegas brings professional roulette, blackjack and poker tables, experienced croupiers and the excitement of a casino night to events across London. Guests play with fun money, learn the games as they go and share moments they will remember after the party ends.
From a company celebration to a private festive gathering, we can help you choose the games and plan the experience around your venue, guest numbers and evening schedule.
More Than Casino Tables: A Complete Christmas Party Experience
The best parties give guests something to do together. A Viva Vegas casino brings people around the tables to watch the roulette wheel spin, try their hand at blackjack and cheer on friends as the chips change hands.
The casino can open during welcome drinks, run alongside the rest of your entertainment or appear as a surprise after dinner. Our team provides the agreed equipment and croupiers, runs the games and packs down afterwards. You can concentrate on your guests while the casino becomes part of the evening.
Roulette
Few games gather a crowd like roulette. Guests choose a number or colour, place their chips and wait for the wheel to stop. It is a lively centrepiece that works whether someone plays every round or drops in between conversations. Explore our roulette hire options.
Blackjack
Blackjack is quick to learn and easy to join, making it a natural choice for a Christmas party with guests of mixed experience. Our croupiers explain the game and keep each round moving. See our blackjack table hire offering.
Poker
For guests who enjoy a longer card game, poker adds another dimension to the casino floor. It can sit alongside roulette and blackjack to give people a choice of pace throughout the night. Learn more about poker table hire.
Christmas Casino Packages Built Around Your Event
An Intimate Casino Setup
One or two tables can give a smaller party a clear focal point without taking over the room. Choose games your guests will enjoy and let people play throughout the evening.
A Multi-Game Casino Night
Combine roulette, blackjack and poker to give guests more ways to take part. This works well when you have a larger guest list or want the casino to be a major part of the party.
A Themed Christmas Celebration
Build on the games with a Vegas inspired dress code or a wider party theme. Viva Vegas can discuss casino entertainment alongside other themed party hire options to suit your venue and plans.
Every event has different requirements. Tell us what you are organising and we will discuss a suitable arrangement rather than a fixed package that does not fit your space or schedule.
Corporate Christmas Parties
A casino gives colleagues and clients a shared activity that works throughout the evening. Guests can move between the games and conversations, while the tables bring together people who might not usually meet. If you are organising on behalf of a company, see our corporate Christmas casino hire page for planning details.
Private Christmas Parties
Give friends and family a reason to dress up, gather around the tables and try something new together. A casino can be the centrepiece of the night or an exciting addition to the celebration you have already planned. Explore ideas for a Christmas casino party.
Choose Your Christmas Casino Theme
Keep the decorations festive and let the tables create the casino atmosphere, or make the theme part of the invitation. Vintage Vegas brings colour and spectacle. A James Bond or Monte Carlo inspired evening suits a formal dress code and an elegant setting.
The theme can be as subtle or as bold as you want. Tell us about your venue and the look you are aiming for when you request a quote, and we can discuss options that complement the rest of your party.
Advice on Casino Nights
Casino Nights under the Gambling Act 2005
Casinos gaming includes games like roulette and blackjack where players compete against the “house” or a banker, rather than against one another on equal terms.
Commercial casino gaming
Commercial casino gaming is licensed and regulated by the Gambling Commission. If you wish to provide casinos gaming on a commercial basis you should consult the Commission: www.gamblingcommission.gov.uk.
Casino gaming in clubs
Clubs and miners’ welfare institutes that hold a club gaming permit issued by their local licensing authority may provide facilities for two specific types of “banker’s” game: chemin de fer and pontoon (blackjack is not permitted). A maximum participation fee of £3 per person, per day may be charged for this gaming, but no amounts may be deducted from either stakes or prizes. See the separate fact sheet on “Gaming in clubs” for further details.
Non-commercial casino gaming
Organisations that wish to provide casinos games for charitable or other noncommercial purposes (e.g. to raise funds for a club or society) may do so under the prize gaming provisions in Part 14 of the Act. Non-commercial gaming of this kind may only take place at events where none of the proceeds from the event itself are used for private gain. For these purposes, the proceeds of an event constitute the sums raised by its organisers (including sums raised by way of participation fees, sponsorship, commission from traders, or otherwise) minus the costs reasonably incurred in organising the event. However, sums raised by other persons will not form part of the proceeds of the event and so may be appropriated for private gain. An example would be refreshments provided at the event by an independent third party. Non-commercial gaming may be an ancillary activity or the only or principal purpose of the event. To qualify as prize gaming, the prizes (whether in cash or in kind) should be put up in advance, and must not be dependent on the number of players taking part or the amount of money staked. The players participating in non-commercial gaming must also be told what “good cause” is to benefit from the profits from the gaming. There are no statutory limits on stakes, prizes, participation fees or other charges for this type of noncommercial gaming. No licence, permit or other form of permission is required to operate this kind of gaming provided that the statutory conditions are complied with.
Private casino gaming
Private casino gaming may take place in two sets of circumstances. Domestic gaming: in a private dwelling, on a domestic occasion. Residential gaming: in a hostel, hall of residence or similar establishment (but not on premises operated as a trade, corporate or business) provided that the majority of those taking part are residents. No charge may be made for participation in private gaming (and that includes an entrance fee or other charge for admission), nor may any amounts be deducted from stakes or prizes. Private gaming may not be provided in any place to which the public have access, and no profits may be made from it, regardless of the purpose to which they may be put. NB. This fact sheet is intended to provide a general explanation of the circumstances in which “casinos nights” can be operated under the Gambling Act 2005. It does not deal with every detail of the legislative provisions, or with the individual circumstances of a particular case. This fact sheet does not constitute legal advice and is not a substitute for the relevant legal provisions. If you are in any doubt about the legality of any gambling activities that you intend to promote or for which you intend to provide facilities, you are strongly advised to seek independent legal advice. Christmas Casino Hire FAQs
Do guests need to know how to play the games?
No. Our croupiers explain the rules and help beginners join in at the tables. Guests can watch a round before playing if they prefer. Roulette and blackjack are approachable choices for a mixed group, and the casino gives people the freedom to try a game without committing to it for the whole evening.
Do guests gamble with real money?
No. This is a fun casino experience using event chips or fun money. Guests can enjoy the games without betting their own cash. If you would like a friendly competition or prize moment at the end, tell us about your plans when you enquire.
Which games should I choose for a Christmas party?
Roulette and blackjack make a strong combination: one draws a crowd around the wheel, while the other offers quick rounds guests can join at any point. Poker adds variety for those who enjoy card games. The best selection depends on your guest numbers, available space and playing time, which we can discuss before you book.
Can the casino open after dinner?
Yes. Some organisers use the casino during welcome drinks, while others reveal it after dinner to give the party a new burst of energy. Tell us your running order and when the team can access the venue so setup and playing time can be planned around the evening.
Can you provide Christmas casino hire across London?
Viva Vegas is London based and provides event entertainment across the city. Include your venue address in your enquiry, along with any information about loading, lifts or restricted access. These details help us discuss an appropriate setup and the delivery arrangements for your event.
How far ahead should I enquire about a Christmas date?
Enquire once your date and venue are confirmed. That gives you time to discuss table choices, croupiers, event timings and any theme you would like to include. If your party is approaching soon, send us your date and venue so we can check availability.
