Corporate Christmas Party Casino Hire in London
Planning the company Christmas party? Give your guests something more memorable than another DJ and dance floor. A Viva Vegas casino brings colleagues and clients together around roulette, blackjack and poker tables, giving them an experience to share throughout the evening.
We supply professional casino equipment, experienced croupiers and everything needed to run the agreed games at your venue. Tell us your date, guest numbers and event schedule, and we will help you plan a corporate Christmas casino night that fits the occasion.
Christmas Party Entertainment That Brings Colleagues Together
At a company party, guests may arrive from different teams, offices or client organisations. Casino tables give them an easy place to meet. One group might gather around the roulette wheel; others can join a quick blackjack game before returning to dinner, drinks or conversation.
Guests can take part whenever it suits them. They do not need to follow a tournament, learn the rules in advance or stay at the same table all night. Our croupiers help newcomers get started, making the games welcoming for people with different interests and levels of experience.
For an overview of games, themes and private event options, visit our main Christmas casino hire page.
Roulette
Roulette creates an immediate focal point. Guests gather around the wheel, choose where to place their chips and share the anticipation of every spin. It is well suited to a busy party because people can join for a round and move on whenever they wish.
Blackjack
Blackjack is quick to pick up and keeps guests involved with each hand. A croupier explains the rules and runs the table, helping first-time players feel comfortable taking a seat.
Poker
Poker gives keen card players another way to enjoy the evening. Depending on the format you want, it can be part of a wider casino floor or a more focused activity for a smaller group.
We Handle the Casino, From Setup to Pack-Down
As the organiser, you have enough to coordinate already. Viva Vegas supplies and installs the agreed tables and gaming accessories, staffs the games with professional croupiers and packs down the equipment once the booked playing time ends.
Before the event, we will discuss the details that affect the casino setup: guest numbers, available floor space, delivery access and when the tables should open. Share the venue’s loading arrangements and your running order so the gaming area can be planned alongside catering, speeches and other entertainment.
Guests play with event chips or fun money rather than betting their own cash. Our croupiers explain the games and keep play moving while you spend time hosting your colleagues and clients.
How a Corporate Christmas Casino Evening Works
Tell us about the event
Send us your party date, venue address, approximate guest numbers and preferred casino operating times. If you already know which games you want, let us know.
Plan the casino area
We will discuss a suitable mix of tables and how the setup could fit your venue. Floor plans and information about access or loading times are useful at this stage.
Open the tables to guests
Once the equipment is set up, our croupiers welcome guests, explain the games and run the tables during the agreed playing time.
Finish the evening your way
The casino can close before the dancing begins or remain part of the wider party schedule. If you would like to discuss a friendly competition or prize moment, mention it during planning.
Fit the Casino Around Your Running Order
You can open the casino during a drinks reception to help guests mingle, use it after dinner to bring new energy to the room or reveal the tables once awards and speeches have finished. It can be the main attraction or one element of a larger Christmas event.
Tell us what happens before and after the casino opens. Knowing when guests arrive, when food is served and when the venue permits setup helps us discuss a playing time that feels natural within the evening.
From Office Celebrations to Larger Corporate Events
A smaller office party may suit a compact setup built around a couple of popular games. A larger celebration may call for a wider choice of tables so more guests can take part throughout the night. We will discuss the options in relation to your guest numbers, venue and budget.
Viva Vegas also provides casino hire for corporate events throughout the year. For Christmas, the games can work within your existing festive plans or form the centrepiece of a themed event.
Give the Party a Theme
The casino tables already create a sense of occasion, but you can take the look further. A Vegas inspired party invites bold styling and a celebratory dress code. A Bond or Monte Carlo inspired evening can suit a more formal venue and black-tie invitations.
Tell us about the atmosphere you want before choosing additional details. Our themed party hire options can help you develop an event that feels consistent from the invitations through to the gaming area.
Advice on Casino Nights
Casino Nights under the Gambling Act 2005
Casinos gaming includes games like roulette and blackjack where players compete against the “house” or a banker, rather than against one another on equal terms.
Commercial casino gaming
Commercial casino gaming is licensed and regulated by the Gambling Commission. If you wish to provide casinos gaming on a commercial basis you should consult the Commission: www.gamblingcommission.gov.uk.
Casino gaming in clubs
Clubs and miners’ welfare institutes that hold a club gaming permit issued by their local licensing authority may provide facilities for two specific types of “banker’s” game: chemin de fer and pontoon (blackjack is not permitted). A maximum participation fee of £3 per person, per day may be charged for this gaming, but no amounts may be deducted from either stakes or prizes. See the separate fact sheet on “Gaming in clubs” for further details.
Non-commercial casino gaming
Organisations that wish to provide casinos games for charitable or other noncommercial purposes (e.g. to raise funds for a club or society) may do so under the prize gaming provisions in Part 14 of the Act. Non-commercial gaming of this kind may only take place at events where none of the proceeds from the event itself are used for private gain. For these purposes, the proceeds of an event constitute the sums raised by its organisers (including sums raised by way of participation fees, sponsorship, commission from traders, or otherwise) minus the costs reasonably incurred in organising the event. However, sums raised by other persons will not form part of the proceeds of the event and so may be appropriated for private gain. An example would be refreshments provided at the event by an independent third party. Non-commercial gaming may be an ancillary activity or the only or principal purpose of the event. To qualify as prize gaming, the prizes (whether in cash or in kind) should be put up in advance, and must not be dependent on the number of players taking part or the amount of money staked. The players participating in non-commercial gaming must also be told what “good cause” is to benefit from the profits from the gaming. There are no statutory limits on stakes, prizes, participation fees or other charges for this type of noncommercial gaming. No licence, permit or other form of permission is required to operate this kind of gaming provided that the statutory conditions are complied with.
Private casino gaming
Private casino gaming may take place in two sets of circumstances. Domestic gaming: in a private dwelling, on a domestic occasion. Residential gaming: in a hostel, hall of residence or similar establishment (but not on premises operated as a trade, corporate or business) provided that the majority of those taking part are residents. No charge may be made for participation in private gaming (and that includes an entrance fee or other charge for admission), nor may any amounts be deducted from stakes or prizes. Private gaming may not be provided in any place to which the public have access, and no profits may be made from it, regardless of the purpose to which they may be put. NB. This fact sheet is intended to provide a general explanation of the circumstances in which “casinos nights” can be operated under the Gambling Act 2005. It does not deal with every detail of the legislative provisions, or with the individual circumstances of a particular case. This fact sheet does not constitute legal advice and is not a substitute for the relevant legal provisions. If you are in any doubt about the legality of any gambling activities that you intend to promote or for which you intend to provide facilities, you are strongly advised to seek independent legal advice. Corporate Christmas Casino Hire FAQs
Can casino hire work for a large company Christmas party?
Yes. We can discuss a setup with several tables for a larger event. The right number of games depends on how many guests you expect, how long the casino will be open and how much space the venue can provide. Let us know whether the casino is the main entertainment or part of a wider programme so we can discuss a suitable arrangement.
Can the casino be a surprise for our staff?
It can. You might reveal the gaming area after dinner or when guests move into another part of the venue. We would need to discuss when our team can access the space, where the tables will be set up and when guests will enter. Share the surprise plan with your venue as well, so delivery and setup fit the event schedule.
Do employees need to know how to play?
No. Our croupiers explain the games and help beginners get started. Guests can watch a round before joining in if they prefer. Roulette and blackjack are particularly easy to enjoy in short visits to the tables, while poker offers another option for people who like card games.
Do guests play with real money?
No. A Viva Vegas fun casino uses event chips or fun money, so guests do not need to bet their own cash. The focus is on entertainment and participation. If you would like to add a friendly competitive finish, tell us about it when you enquire so the idea can be discussed as part of your event plan.
Can the casino run alongside dinner, speeches and a DJ?
Yes. The tables can open at the point that makes sense for your running order. They might entertain guests during welcome drinks, begin after the formal parts of the night or operate alongside music and other activities. Provide your approximate timings when requesting a quote so we can discuss setup and playing time.
What do you need to provide a corporate Christmas quote?
Please send your date, venue address, estimated guest numbers and the times you would like the casino to run. It also helps to know your preferred games, whether you have a theme and what the venue has told you about loading and access. If the schedule is still taking shape, send the details you have and we can discuss the options.
